Mariana describes herself as a hard-working young woman, a fighter and single mother of a loving seven-year-old boy called Jacobo, who was born with a genetic congenital disorder called Osteogenesis imperfecta (OI) also known as Brittle Bone Disease.

One of her most pressing concerns was to provide her boy with their own home and furnish it to attend Jacobo’s needs. These concerns are now a thing of the past as her dream of becoming a home owner has come true.
