JLV Huellas made a donation to the Poblanco School and provided legal assistance to its residents.

On Saturday October 16th, representatives of the foundation JLV Huellas together with the company SMV Investment visited the village of Poblanco in the municipality of Santa Barbara Antioquia, Colombia, located in the southwestern subregion of the department of Antioquia, in order to make a donation to the Educational Institution El Guayabo, Poblanco, in addition to providing legal advice on various legal issues.

In 2019, the Educational Institution el Guayabo, Poblanco, had a bad experience because the technological equipment of this place was stolen. Since then, 37 young people who are part of the institution did not have the possibility to do research, since many do not have cell phones or computers at home. For this reason, the president of the foundation, Pedro Vasquez, after realizing what happened decided to donate four computers and sports equipment through Huellas so that students could have the facility to investigate and play in their free time.

Additionally, a day of free legal advice was provided by the company SMV Investment in which people consulted on issues such as family counseling, inheritance, divorce, partition of property, division of land, studies of lot documents, alimony claims among others.

“It is a great experience, the people who took part in this event may not have the possibility to pay a lawyer to solve different doubts about land division, lot documentation, etc. For this reason, we are grateful for the support we received from the law firm. Additionally, it is a great satisfaction to be able to help 37 young people who are part of the institution’s elementary and high school, and more than 15 children of early childhood who over the years will be able to enjoy the computers and sports equipment donated,” said Jessica Mejia, legal representative of the Foundation.

On behalf of the foundation, we will continue working to help people and leave a lasting impact on them.
