On 26 May, the municipality of Yolombó came together to honor local educators. Supported by JLV Huellas, the celebration recognized the people who dedicate their working lives to education.
Participants represented SEDUCA, contracted education, community childcare, child-development centers, rural family-support programs and higher education. Their different roles shared a common purpose: supporting education in Yolombó.
The foundation contributed basic household items as a practical expression of gratitude for the educators’ efforts. The event brought together teachers and the wider education community, highlighting the value of working toward a shared goal.
The donation was intended to recognize teachers’ work and encourage their continued commitment. Their influence reaches beyond academic performance to the values and civic responsibility of the next generation.
