About JLV Huellas

Change begins at home.
Then reaches the community.

We are a Colombian social foundation working with families to strengthen housing opportunities, livelihoods, community relationships and shared spaces.

Who we are

Walking alongside families.

We believe a more secure home and a stronger network of support can open possibilities for an entire family. Our work connects guidance with opportunity, and individual needs with community participation.

JLV Huellas brings together families, volunteers, mentors, companies and community organizations. Four connected areas shape that work: housing support, entrepreneurship, social and community development, and better shared spaces.

Our approach is based on respect, closeness and collaboration. We aim to strengthen people’s capacity to make decisions and build a more autonomous, dignified future.

Our mission

Build opportunity through connected support.

Help families strengthen their capacity to access dignified housing, develop sustainable livelihoods, improve their surroundings and build community relationships, with children’s present and future well-being at the center.

Our vision

Dignity, opportunity and community, together.

Contribute to a Colombia where families have the tools and support to build a more secure future, through an approach that connects housing, entrepreneurship and community development.

A shared commitment

Working together, locally.

The published stories describe collaboration with AE&M on a home improvement, SMV Investment on a school-support visit and legal guidance, and educational communities in Yolombó and San Pedro de los Milagros.

These are specific collaborations described in historical records, not a claim of current sponsorship by every organization mentioned.
