On 16 February, San Pedro de los Milagros witnessed an important donation to Mariana and her son Jacobo at the Vista Hermosa housing project. Led by AE&M and supported by the foundation, the initiative’s main purpose was to improve this family’s living conditions.
A new roof
The donation involved a complete improvement to the roof over the internal patio of Mariana’s new home. Mariana is a mother raising her son Jacobo, who faces the challenges of living with a condition commonly known as brittle-bone disease.
Through the foundation’s commitment and AE&M’s collaboration, translucent roofing and structural framing were installed to reduce the effects of the municipality’s low temperatures and provide the family with a safer, warmer space.

After the family’s dream of homeownership came true with the help of JLV Home Design, their joy inspired the JLV Huellas team. The partnership with AE&M was essential to making this gesture of support possible, demonstrating how a company’s commitment can lead to practical actions that benefit communities.
